present Great Cycle of the Maya Long Count calendar, which many believe will end on
December 21, 2012. There are different views and ways of connecting the Maya count to
our current Gregorian calendar, with anticipation ranging from Armageddon to birthing a
new era of global harmony. Leonide compares views and provides new information about
Itza Maya Elder Hunbatz Men's emphasis on the Pleiadian 52-year cycles.

"Maya Goddesses and the Sacred Feminine," workshop to explore ancient and contemporary
Maya spirituality expressed through the feminine force.  Leonide Martin discusses ancient
Maya views of deities/metaphysical domains of the Underworld and Upperworld,
emphasizing feminine expressions that continue as contemporary Mayas blend these with
Christian religions.  Participants experience aspects of Maya spiritual practices and apply
these to the sacred feminine force in their lives.

Yok'hah Maya--Practices of Ancient Maya Yoga                October 15-24, 2009

Study in depth the mystic knowledge and hidden practices of ancient Maya yogic
traditions. The program includes classes, mystical techniques, meditations, ceremonies
and visits to sacred Maya sites to experience the energies and powers placed there by
ancient Mayas. Program Director Hunbatz Men, Itza Maya Elder, Shaman and
Daykeeper, with teacher Leonide Martin, Solar Initiate and Fire Woman, and other
Maya elders. Diploma granted by the Cosmic Initiatic University of Yok'hah Maya at
completion of this program.
